Código de cifrado / descifrado de contraseña en .NET

Aquí tienes. Lo encontré en algún lugar de Internet. Funciona bien para mi.

EDITAR: esta es una respuesta muy antigua. SHA1 quedó obsoleto en 2011 y ahora se ha roto en la práctica. https://shattered.io/ Utilice un estándar más nuevo en su lugar (por ejemplo, SHA256, SHA512, etc.).

Si su respuesta a la pregunta de mi comentario es “No”, esto es lo que uso:
