Solución:
En el mismo diseño donde se define el RecyclerView
, añade el TextView
:

En el onCreate
o la devolución de llamada adecuada, compruebe si el conjunto de datos que alimenta su RecyclerView
esta vacio. Si el conjunto de datos está vacío, el RecyclerView
también está vacío. En ese caso, el mensaje aparece en la pantalla. Si no es así, cambie su visibilidad:
